Changing the time on the ETV DVR Series

The following instructions are for adjusting the time forward.
If it is necessary to move the time backward, thus causing an overlap with existing data, other steps are necessary to ensure database consistency. Please contact your installer.

If the DVR is in
KIOSK Mode, use the mouse to click the “Settings” tab on the top toolbar. Click “DVR Settings” and then click “Startup”. Uncheck the box labeled “Restart in KIOSK Mode”. A message will pop up, click YES and then click the APPLY button at the bottom of the screen. Finally, click OK and the system will automatically restart. Once the system is back up and running, continue with the step below.

If the DVR is
NOT in KIOSK Mode or has finished rebooting after removing KIOSK Mode (above), click the “X” at the top right corner of the screen and click YES to the pop up window. This will exit the DVR software to the Windows Desktop screen. To set the time, double-click on the time in the system tray in the bottom right hand corner. A window will pop up where you can edit time, date and region settings.
