Backup stops at 'Backup Progressing' and never finishes

Check the front panel for a RECOVERY light.
If that is lit, the unit has recently suffered a power loss or improper shutdown and it is in recover mode.

To restart the dvr when recovery is lit:

• Press the POWER button on the left side
• Enter the password
• Wait till the unit shutsdown completely, count to five, and press POWER again
• When prompted, enter the password again and you will be back at live video and the recovery light will be off

Attempt your backup again, and make sure you are using a CD-R or CD-RW disc!
DVR -R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-Audio discs are not supported!
