PTZ control with the remote control

This effects the following models:
  • ETM-120-04
  • ETM-120-09
  • ETM-120-16
  • ETM-120-09/CDRW
  • ETM-120-16/CDRW
The following models work correctly and are not effected:
  • ETM-120-04/CDRW
  • ETM-120-06/CDRW
  • ETM-120-08/CDRW

When controlling a PTZ with the handheld remote control, the PTZ will continue in the direction pressed and fails to stop moving in that direction when the button is released. This is due to a design limitation and is not scheduled to be addressed at this time.

A simple workaround to stop the PTZ from rotating endlessly is to press the UP key to halt the rotation.
