"Hard Disk Fail" or "Master HDD: Not Detected" during the boot process

This applies to the 411 series DVR 's :

Possible causes:
  • The hard drive has failed.  (Contact  ELUSA Technical Support  for further troubleshooting)
  • The power supply that was included with the DVR is failing.
In some cases these issues can be resolved by purchasing a new power supply for the DVR .*
*NOTE: The new power supply needs to meet the same specifications as the original, see KB article "Embedded DVR Power Supply Details.pdf" for specifications.
