EL-2000mini – Cyber Scan Dome (SD25) – ETM DVR

Connecting and controlling your PTZ with the DVR and the 2000mini

Necessary components:

 
- Connect the RJ45 straight-through cable in the following manner:

• From the MASTER RJ-45 port on the controller to the COM 1 port on the back of the DVR

 
- Connect the Data wires to the TRX+ and TRX- on the controller to the TX+ and TX- on the Cyber Scan Dome, making sure + and – match on both sides.

- On the Cyber Scan Dome, set the ID (default: 1) and Dip Switches (default: All OFF). Defaults will work when connecting only 1 Cyber Scan Dome. Refer to the Manual for any adjustments for alternate configurations.

- Connect the BNC Coax cable between the ETM DVR and the Cyber Scan Dome.

- Apply 12v DC power for the 2000mini and 24v AC for the Cyber Scan Dome.

 
ETM-120-xxCDRW DVR Settings

• Press MENU > arrow over to NETWORK > arrow down to SERIAL > adjust BAUD Rate, STOP and DATA bits according to the camera’s protocol configuration.
• Press MENU > arrow over to CAMERA > select the camera for PTZ control > arrow down to PTZ > Press ENTER > Turn PTZ ON > Select Protocol and camera ID
  

Using your 2000mini Controller

• Default Password: 8888
• To adjust protocol: 555 (then) GLB and follow the prompts
• Change the Camera to control, referring to the ID: ID# (then) CAM
• Change the DVR to control, referring to the ID: ID# (then) DVR
• Change multiscreen format on the DVR : press  
• Change to single camera# display on the DVR : cam# (then)
• Typing numbers (ex. password entry), using arrows, and Enter on the DVR
  • Typing each number (ex. enter the password in Menu): # (then)
  • Move in a direction (arrows): CTRL+(2(up),4(left),6(right), or 8(down))
  • Send the Enter command on the DVR : CTRL+ENT
• To rewind or fast forward when in Search on the DVR : CTRL+4(rew) or CTRL+6(ffwd) (Note: Does not work on the ETM-120-xx without a CDRW)
