How to connect to the ETV Demo DVR at Electronics Line USA

Downloading the ETV remote client software

1. Make sure that you have an internet connection
2. Open Internet Explorer
3. In the address line type in http://support.el-usa.com/kb
4. At the top of the Main page, left-click  “Remote Software Downloads”

This will take you to a page listing all of the remote software clients

5. Left-click on “ETV Remote Client”
6. Scroll down the page to “Attached files”
7. Left-click the link labeled “VigilClient EL-USA v 5 00 0010.exe”
8. A window will pop-up and ask you if you want to “Open” or “Save”  the file
9. Click “Save”  and choose “Desktop” when prompted where to save
10. Once the download is complete, locate the “VigilClient El-USA v 5 00 0010.exe” file that has been saved to your desktop
11. Double left-click the file to begin installation
12. An InstallShield window appears to guide you through the program installation
13. Click “Next” throughout the process, leave ALL  settings default

NOTE: There may be prompts during the installation regarding Microsoft Windows, click “Continue Anyway” to proceed

14. When the installation is complete, left-click “Finish” button

Launching the ETV Remote Client

1. Left-click on the “Start” button
2. Go to “Programs” and then “ETV”
3. Left-click on “ETV Remote Client”
4. On first run, the software prompts for a default language

Verify “English” and click “Cancel”

Once again, click Start > Programs > ETV > ETV Remote Client

5. This will open the ETV remote client
6.  Click the “Servers” button at the top of the screen
7. A small window will open,  click the “Add” button
8. In the Description box type “ELUSA DEMO”
9. In the IP/DNS Name box type “demo.el-usa.com”
10. In the “User Name” box type “administrator”
11. In the “Password” box type “123”
12. Click “OK”
13. ELUSA DEMO will appear on the left, under “Sites”
14. Left-click the plus “+” symbol, this will connect to the DVR and give you a list of the cameras that are available to view
15. Double left-click on any of the cameras and this will open the live view for the camera selected
