Remote is not responding properly

By default, the DVR is set with Remocon ID: 1 (remote control ID) in Menu > Network > Serial.
That setting is assumed to be unchanged for the following instructions.

To configure the remote to work with your DVR :

• Make sure batteries are in correctly
• Press the [DVR ] button in the bottom right of the remote
• Press the number 1 button on the number pad of the remote
• This will set the remote to remote control ID 1, to match the DVR 's default setting

Note: When entering numbers through the remote, it is necessary to pause 1-2 seconds between each number press so it can be transmitted to the DVR and, in the case of entering a password, for an asterisk to appear designating it has received your input. This exists so you can enter in a camera number (e.g. to bring it fullscreen) above 9, such as 16 by pressing 1 and then 6 (within 1-2 seconds).
