This can be caused by the following scenarios:
  • Slow connection speed
    • Resolution: Wait a few seconds and video will appear
  • Camera is not turned on in the software
    • Resolution: Turn on the camera through DVR Setup
  • Camera is set to zero (0) fps
    • Resolution: Adjust fps to 1 or higher
  • No camera connected
    • Resolution: Check connections. Identified by an explanation point in a triangle icon.
  • Onboard video card incompatible or old version of DirectX
    • Resolution: Enter RMS Setup. In the bottom left under ETC > Display, select Bitmap(RGB) and click OK.
